Goma Mining Community is a community-based mining company, a society of artisan miners of the Democratic Republic of Congo (DRC) based in Eastern DR Congo in Nord-Kivu. We are licensed by the government of the Democratic Republic of Congo to operate by extracting, purifying, and exporting cobalt, copper, diamond, tantalum, tin, and gold
We have registered offices all over East Africa, in Uganda (Kampala), Kenya (Nairobi), and Tanzania (Dar es salaam). As a company, our mission is to maximize value for gold buyers around the world and local Kivu – Congo communities by mining and developing our mineral resource base in a socially and environmentally responsible manner.

Minerals are substances for the production of many essential items used in our daily lives. Our Operations are for the better of the people to whom the natural minerals resources belong
The Democratic Republic of Congo's (DRC) main economic resource is its mineral deposits; mining produces almost nine-tenths of total exports. Minerals found in DRC include copper, cobalt, zinc, cassiterite (the chief source of metallic tin), manganese, coal, silver, cadmium, germanium (a brittle element used as a semiconductor), gold, palladium (a metallic element used as a catalyst, and in alloys), uranium, and platinum.
The region west of Lake Kivu contains cassiterite, columbo tantalite, wolframite (a source of tungsten), beryl, gold, and monazite (a phosphate of the cerium metals and thorium).

Organizing the Artisan miners community and collaborating with other mining companies has been the main reason why Goma Mining Community stands now. We believe that all the natural mineral resources belong to the people and that they have to enjoy the benefits that these minerals bring.

Better Education, Health, Transport facilities, and the best Community services can all be brought to the people using the natural resources as a medium of exchange.
Therefore Goma Mining Community focuses on improving the lives of the people through trading the minerals for the revenue needed to offer services that are necessary for a better community.
We are committed to cordial relationships with the local community and we always work harder and smarter to maintain our license from the government of the Democratic Republic of Congo. This will enable us to serve our customers for a very long period of time. We discovered a 10 km long rock in the Kivu ranges which is a rare resource in the history of Gold mining and we believe this is going to make our company the biggest in natural gold resource in the whole of Africa.
